INCAT is currently seeking an IDEAS Powertrain Designer.Position Description: CAD Designer/Detailer to support Ford Motor Company V-Engine Engineering forward model and current production program design work.Skills Required: CAD Design/Detail work to be done using IDEAS CAD tools. Opportunities within CATIA may be limited designer will responsible to ensure package fit and function requirements of Ford Motor Company and CAD Engine Design are met. -Use of tolerance stack-ups required. -Use and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) -Prepare and assist in design Reviews -Capable to detail product drawings within IDEAS toolsSkills preferred: -Teamcenter experience preferred, but not required -Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 -1994 Ford Drafting Standard is preferred, but not required -Design modeling/detailing capabilities within CATA would be a plusExperience Required: -Experienced in use of IDEAS CAD tools -See primary skills required aboveExperience Preferred: -Prior modeling/detailing of engine components within IDEAS/CATIA is preferred.Education Required: No degree requiredEducation Preferred: Team center training preferred, but not required.
