Our company builds Space Vehicles, Fighter Jets, Satellites, Naval Ships, Rockets, & Missiles. What does your current employer build? Location: Lexington, Massachusetts: Work will include, but not be limited to, implementation of real time and near real time optical sensor image processing, image reduction, image interpretation, imaged object tracking and conversion of high rate high density image data streams to highly compressed streams. These positions require software developers / architects / engineers who have exceptionally strong knowledge of and experience with C++ in a soft real time environment on Linux and/or Solaris. The successful candidates will work closely with the software team leaders and other members of the team to quickly prototype possible approaches to problem solutions, and then implement the final solution. The Software Engineer will apply extensive technical expertise, and have a full knowledge of other related disciplines. The Software Engineer will develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Relocation: No relocation funds are available for this position
