Working in partnership with staff in our member services and IT areas, you will play a key role in ongoing efforts to identify, define and implement technology solutions and business process improvements to advance and support various healthcare technology initiatives. Using your existing knowledge and your ongoing learning of evolving technologies you will advocate standards and technologies associated with electronic health records and maintain content relative to these topics on our member web site. Responsibilities include management and coordination of project team activities including team assembly, vendor procurement, priority setting, resource allocation, and timely communication on the ongoing progress of projects.


Required Skills:

A Bachelor?s degree or equivalent, and 5 or more years of related project management experience are required. Two or more years experience coordinating web projects, and business process expertise are necessary. Experience working for a membership or healthcare organization, particularly in the information technology area, is strongly preferred. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL-server based systems and applications, SQL-based tools for data migration, data results verification, and data reporting are also necessary. Strong leadership, verbal and written communication, negotiation, facilitation, interpersonal and presentation skills, and attention to detail are essential. The ability to mediate between differing and sometimes contradictory demands, to maintain confidentiality, and to influence outcomes in a deadline-oriented environment are important.
