The National Retail Account Executive position with ATT has the following responsibilities:
Develops and implements wireless sales and marketing programs for assigned and national agent accounts.
Financial Accountability – Meets and exceeds sales objectives for assigned accounts channels. Develops and conducts effective marketing and sales training presentations. Conducts regular sales meetings with assigned accounts sales representatives. Assists with resolution of any commissions discrepancies as appropriate. Focus on increasing revenue potential by selling voice features and access revenue per unit through assigned accounts.
Customer Experience – Develops and maintains supportive relationships with existing accounts to meet sales objectives. Develops effective working relationships with new accounts in order to meet sales objectives. Develops and implements programs to train distribution personnel on effective sales and retention strategies. Focus on retaining customers by providing updated product and promotional information.
Operational – May manage adherence to contract terms, policies, and procedures. Tracks and reports results of sales activities and performance systematically through established reporting procedures. Merchandise locations with all proper and timely promotional materials. Implements regular program of store visits on an established schedule using tracking forms to provide feedback to local management. Supports trade shows or equivalent hosting events. Develops program to focus on churn and customer satisfaction with a follow up program on customer complaints and disconnects. Manages sales and operations as a wireless consultant. Uphold ATT values and business ethics and maintain the highest level of confidentiality concerning ATT assets and proprietary information as well as that of each individual agent. Schedule may require evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Position Qualifications:
SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree or equivalent required, Bachlor’s degree preferred.
•Two or more years of outside/inside sales or marketing exp.
•Experience working in the telecommunications industry is desirable.
•Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills and attention to detail; and the ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
•Computer proficiency (MS Office), ability to operate wireless equipment, photocopier and facsimile machine, printer and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment is essential.
•The ability to work day, evening, weekends, holidays and occasional overtime. In addition, must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, up to eight hours per day; and travel to multiple store locations when required.
