 General Dynamics Information Technology has an opening for a Senior Information Security Analyst in Washington, DC. Candidate will provide support to a federal agency's Information Assurance program for full life cycle security support. This support includes firewall administration, administration and monitoring of the intrusion detection system, incident response, risk analysis, security certification and accreditation, and performance of IT security audits. A thorough knowledge and understanding of network security best practices is required. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of the agency's cyber security program; development and implementation of information and information system security policies and procedures, and assisting with business continuity planning (BCP). 

 A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required. CISSP preferred. 

 Eight years of general Information Assurance (IA) experience. A thorough knowledge and understanding of security certification and accreditation.Must be detail-oriented team player with strong written and verbal communication skills. Technical skills in: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, LAN-Hubs, Switches, Security Architecture, VPN etc. are highly desirable.
