Christiana Care is currently recruiting for an Education Senior Specialist- Clinical Systems to design, manage, and execute the clinical IT educational plan, and training curricula in collaboration with the Chief Medical Information Officer and the Informatics team, project Steering Committee(s) and key Sponsors. The Education Senior Specialist will also provide education leadership and manage consultative services to departments and services within the organization with respect to the implementation of advanced clinical information systems to enable the implementation of CCHS focus on excellence vision.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
•Establishes a systematic approach to all aspects of CCHS technical competency, clinical systems learning needs assessment and readiness, training, implementation, coaching and sustainment of expected technology-change driven behaviors.
•Develops and oversees the design of advanced clinical system training curriculum and online education materials.
•Partners with Informatics work team to manage the implementation of clinical Information Systems project training and coaching to selected project population to ensure project success. 
•Facilitates and motivates personnel and leadership from throughout the system to determine readiness for learning and implementation. 
•Coordinates the Train the Trainer for clinical Information Systems project training of the participants who will be conducting the coaching and training of the departments, services lines and organizational participants. 
•Develops polices and procedures to guide and support the implementation of clinical Information Systems training and education plan system wide. 
•Recommends resources to support Information Systems clinical project education structure to meet organizational needs. 
•Provides a supporting role in planning and executing the clinical Information Systems education plan in the respective services and populations. 
•Facilitates advanced clinical Information Systems educational initiatives related to the implementation. 
•Monitors results against targets in the evaluation of training and education plans on the effectiveness and impact of new processes and organizational culture. 
•Disseminates information and provides updates on the clinical Information Systems training implementation plans.
•Presents progress reports/findings on a regular basis to appropriate constituencies within the system.
•Identifies opportunities for improvement and alternate strategies when goals are not met.
•Enhances the understanding of advanced clinical education Information Systems strategies through interactions with physicians, administrative staff, staff and other members of the healthcare team.

REQUIREMENTS:
Masters degree in education, and or instructional design. Five (5) years’ experience in needs assessment and instructional training material design and delivery including online design and delivery in a health care environment and at least three (3) years’ Organizational Development and project management experience required. Clinical IT experience desirable, preferably with the Cerner Millenium product suite.
