Job Title: Paraprofessional - Reading and Writing Assistant (7037)Department/School: Wyman Elementary School Starting Rate $11.87/hour Work Year/Schedule: 6.5 hours/day, 5 days/week Application Due Date: March 5, 2008 Position Start Date: March 2008 Responsibilities:Supports teachers in the instruction of reading and writing. Prepares and sets up educational materials, assists in the assessment of students' ability to read and write. Assists and supports in the development of lesson plans and provides feedback to teachers on individual students.Requirements:Must be able to read, write and speak effectively. Personal computer experience and two years of successful experience working with students preferred.
