Project managers are the URS Representative’s that communicates directly with assigned clients in URS’s behalf. The primary responsibility for this position will be providing leadership to a team of URS project professionals in the execution of projects for petroleum refineries. Will provide leadership and oversight for all assigned personnel including engineers, project administrators, project controls and procurement personnel including project execution personnel assigned to the project. Will be responsible for overall design coordination to ensure client expectations and contract obligations are met. 
Specific Duties include:
• Business Development support
• Proposal development including development of engineering scope of work, budget and schedule
• Contract Negotiations
• Initiate setup of project in URS Accounting System
• Planning/Scheduling of resource requirements for project
• Coordination of design issues with project team and resolution facilitation of inter-discipline problems.
• Provide support to lead discipline engineers and other team members so they can perform their jobs efficiently.
• Communication of project information with all team members in a timely manner.
• Respond to client requests in a timely manner and appropriate manner
• Documentation of decisions made through all forms of communication with clients and team members.
• Management of changes to engineering scope and obtain written client approval on all changes before proceeding with work.
• Management of engineering budget and ensure profitability;
• Ensure timely invoicing and collection of payments from clients.
• Ensure proper closeout of project including transmittal of final documentation to client and URS electronic and hard copy filing.
• Assure adherence to URS Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Accounting procedures.
