'Report to work area on time and ready to work. This includes attending the shift's start-up meeting. 
 
 'Retrieve order from cart, inspect, scan label and pack slip to ensure correct items. 
 
 'Determine if insurance is necessary for item(s) ordered. 
 
 'Select and make box in the correct size for item(s) ordered. 
 
 'Ensure proper packaging methods are used according to partner specifications. 
 
 'Include any necessary drop-ins in the package. 
 
 'Place any necessary postage/priority labels on package, close package, and/or place on line. 
 
 Additional Responsibilities: 
 
 'Stock and re-stock packing station. 
 
 'Retrieve packing cart. 
 
 'Clear dunnage line when needed. 
 
 'If necessary, process Hazmat. 
 
 'Cross-trained in other positions within current department. 
 
 'Complete housecleaning tasks assigned by supervision. 
 
 'Any and all other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager. 

Required Qualifications:

 Education ' High School diploma or general education degree (GED). 
 
 Experience ' 0 to 2 years of packing experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment. 
 
 Reasoning Ability ' Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out verbal and/or written instructions.
