Position Specific Details from Manager:

Lead and Support Online Processing System (OPS) Development
Lead and Support applications surrounding OPS System
Take initiatives in owning the documentation of the OPS system.
Analyze and give recommendations to improve the performance and scalability of OPS system. 
Achieve a processing capacity of 10-20 times of the current capacity, this is necessary to meet the demands of large banks.
Analyze and give recommendations for migrating OPS system to SQL Server 2005/.NET technologies.
Recommend database maintenance procedures and policies for all Bill Pay applications related SQL server databases.
Assist technical peers to plan future capacity requirements.
Provide feedback to development on enhancements to the applications.
Collaborate closely with the Bill Pay Payment Processing team during regular and after hours on payment related issues and ensure that all the scheduled payments are processed on-time to meet our established SLAs.

Requirements

BA/BS degree or higher from accredited college in a Technical/MIS/Computer Science, or Business related field
Proficiency in Informix v 7.X/4GL or higher database technology preferred (design/development/implementation/support), including the ability to understand data structures, write queries, and perform DBA tasks. 
Very good documentation skills.
Experience in creating and managing the project requirements document that contains the elements selected by the Business Team for that project. This task may involve assisting the Business Team with the definition of those requirements.
Proficiency in network technology.
MS SQL experience preferred 
Experience with Solaris OS and Sun server technology preferred.
Experience with virtualization software (i.e. VMWARE) preferred.
Experience with standard web/application platforms (Apache//Tomcat) preferred.
Experience in a complex data center environment preferred 
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines 
Self Motivated and detail oriented 
Ability to be available occasionally outside of business hours for critical escalated issues or product upgrades.
Limited travel (
