PPL Electric Utilities (EU) is seeking an Electric Delivery Analyst/Sr. Analyst for our Corporate Headquarters located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. 
 
 Responsibilities: 
 --Develop, monitor and review capital budgets, forecasts, and key financial and operational information and recommend adjustments as needed. 
 --Provide analysis and develop reports, including trends, forecasts, results and recommendations that support EU management in achieving business objectives and goals. 
 --Research and analyze operational/financial data and industry best practice information. 
 --Develop new tools and approaches to meet business needs and drive best practice adoption, for example driver-based rolling forecasts. 
 --Use PC systems and products such as EXCEL, Access, and other products in MS Office to obtain budget, resource, cost, schedule, and work management information for analysis and recommendations for decision making. 
 --Interface with internal and external customers in order to provide support, coordination, and consistency among departments. 
 --Support and participate as required on special projects and department initiatives. 

Candidates must meet the basic qualifications to receive consideration. 
 
 Basic Qualifications: 
 --BS/BA in accounting, finance, business, technical, computer science, engineering or extensive work experience. 
 --Capability to use information systems and databases (Access & Excel based) to develop and assess business plans and assess performance. 
 
 Other Qualifications: 
 --Proficiency in PC systems and applications is needed including spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and presentation graphics. 
 --Strong analytical skills applicable to identifying variances, trends and forecasts. 
 --Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. 
 --Advanced degree such as MBA, CPA or related certification preferred.
