Job Title: Recruiter

We are seeking a Recruiter in Downtown Manhattan.

Big Picture Goals:
* Forge partnerships with internal and external clients
* Manage and administer the full lifecycle recruitment process to successful conclusion
* Drive the client service and candidate-centric experience
* Integrate diversity within all business areas
* Advocate change to improve recruitment service overall

Responsibilities:
* Define staffing needs, methodology, and strategy
* Identify qualified candidates through a complete understanding of the business; develop and manage the candidate flow
* Partner with line managers and HR Business Partners to discuss recruitment strategy, including requisitions, job requisitions, job descriptions, talent sourcing, job posting sites, etc.
* Review and manage all internal, employee referral and external candidates through the firms recruitment management tool
* Conduct phone screens, interview preps, and interviews with candidates
* Consult with line managers in decision stage in order to extend appropriate, market-savvy offers to selected candidates
* Ensure that offer letters are executed with the appropriate approvals and language
* Update HR statuses for all internal employee referral, and external candidates and ensure all requisitions are closed out in recruitment management tool
* Manage vendor relations, costs and agency resume input into web portal

Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years full lifecycle recruitment experience managing candidates throughout the recruitment process
* Knowledge of professional interviewing techniques used to assess quality candidates and job fit
* Superior client management skills
* Ability to effectively engage with all levels of management
* Understanding of local labor markets and national trends in recruiting
* Experience in effectively managing and leveraging vendor relationships
* Skilled in conflict resolution
* Strong organizational, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
* Comfortable working in an evolving and dynamic business environment
* Familiar with requisition and candidate tracking tools
* Expertise in tracking and metrics
* Ability to develop and coach coworkers
* Experience in corporate financial services preferred
* Understanding of other stakeholders including HR Business Partners, Compensation, etc. and their roles within the recruitment process

 Business Skills: 
* A minimum of 5 years full lifecycle recruitment experience managing candidates throughout the recruitment process
* Knowledge of professional interviewing techniques used to assess quality candidates and job fit
* Superior client management skills
* Ability to effectively engage with all levels of management
* Understanding of local labor markets and national trends in recruiting
