In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to: ?Play a key role in the biochemical evaluation of lead Adnectins emerging from Profusion across diverse therapeutic areas. ?This position will involve interactions with multiple groups throughout Discovery. You will also be able to broaden your technical expertise by: ?Design and implement biochemical assays to screen and functionally characterize Adnectin lead molecules ?Characterize targets and explore target presentation strategies ?Explore novel protein protein interaction strategies for increased throughput ?Generate custom reagents to develop assays for targets through molecular biology or protein conjugation ?Document experimental details and scientific findings; contribute to and/or prepare technical reports, potentially including patents and/or scientific papers; actively participate in departmental meetings 

Required Experience 

?Ph.D. with at least 5 years of research experience in protein-protein interactions or assay development, or enzymology. ?Understanding of protein folding and structure ?Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, strong work ethic, broad scientific interests and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. ?Experience with biologicals development is desirable ?Excellent organizational, analytical and technical skills are required along with demonstrated initiative-taking and innovative thinking within a team environment. ?Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with a sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously ?Embrace our core values: Challenge ourselves to excel; Seek and act to achieve the best outcome; Make and keep commitments; Create extraordinary experiences.
