Visit the Job Fair that is free and open to the public on August 28, 2010, from 9 am to 4 pm, at the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Rice Campus at 201 East Loop Road in Wheaton.  
 
Several leading Illinois companies are participating in the job fair and will be recruiting candidates for hundreds of positions, including, Alcatel-Lucent, IBM, ITW, Goodman Network and many more.  A current listing of participating employers is available at http://iacsjobfair.com/.

The job fair is organized by Indo-American Community Service (IACS), Illinois Institute of Technology (Rice Campus), and the Network of Indian Professionals (NetIP) Chicago is a co-organizer of the Conference/Workshop tracks for the Job Fair. 
 
The job fair will provide job seekers the opportunity to interview for jobs or to discuss job openings with prospective employers.  The job fair also includes 3 panel discussions that will feature expert presentations on a range of topics, from upcoming trends in the job market to effective social networking.
 
The job fair will open with introductory remarks by Raja Krishnamoorthi, former Deputy Illinois State Treasurer and will feature a keynote address by Hardik Bhatt, City of Chicago CIO. 
 
The Conference/Resources tracks will include 3 sessions involving 3 speakers in each session to accommodate approximately 200 people in each session.  It will feature:
 
* Panel discussion regarding resume writing/interviewing skills, which will be moderated by Sanjog Aul.  Sanjog Aul is the CEO of AVVAL, an Illinois based IT professional services firm and the host and moderator of “CIO Talk Radio,” a pioneering Internet radio Talk show.  Panelists include Paula Giovacchini (Gio Group, Inc.), Barry Woldman (BMW Enterprises) and other senior professionals and recruiters.
 
* Panel discussion regarding upcoming tends in the marketplace featuring a presentation by Ivan Handler, CIO at Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Gerry Engardio and others senior professionals in IT, marketing/communications and sales fields. 

* Panel regarding social networking, which will focus on best practices for using online media for effective professional networking.  Panelists include Jennifer Irene Janik (Alcatel-Lucent), James Heckman (Little Wolf Online), and Josh Studzinski (Focused Online Marketing).
