Position Purpose: Consider becoming an Administrative Assistant at RBC Wealth Management, one of the nation’s largest full-service investment firms. In this role you will support the senior level manager in our Parsippany complex; the largest single branch complex within RBC Wealth Management.
Key Accountabilities: We are seeking an outgoing, intelligent self-starter for professional office support to the Complex Director to assist in driving revenues by working with Financial Consultants on Forefield, a marketing tool, scheduling external wholesalers for group meetings, coordinating client informational events and overall assistance to Financial Consultants and Client Associates. In addition, you will be responsible for telephone coverage, calendar management, travel arrangements, paying invoices, and other administrative functions order supplies and overall administrative functions.
Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience): Basic Requirements: • 2 or more years securities industry experience • Exceptional customer service • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook • Knowledge of securities industry and financial terms and products • Good written, verbal, and inter-personal communication skills • Exceptional ability to multi-task and stay organized • Good problem-solving ability • Able to manage multiple demands and competing priorities • Able to work with a variety of personalities • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail and deadline-oriented environment Preferred Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree • Series 7 and 63 or 66 licenses (or ability to obtain these in one year)• Experience working in a financial services branch • Experience supporting a senior management position • Background in marketing and/or administrative support • Knowledge of annuities, life insurance, mutual funds and investment advisory processing When you apply please provide a cover letter stating your interest in the position and your salary requirements.
