Qualifications: Excellent research and editorial skills, excellent news judgment and overall news awareness, professional presence, excellent speaking and presentation skills, able to thrive in an active, ever-changing newsroom and live control room, one to two years experience booking for a top affiliate station, network or cable news network, knowledge of or experience with Guest Booking process, excellent diplomatic skills. Educational Requirements: Undergraduate Degree.
 
 Duties: Book guests for Prime News on HLN. Responsible for booking, developing and researching quality guest and contributors with a special focus on diversity. Concentrate on stories that involve the day's most powerful headlines. Segments revolve around guests with energetic views and spirited debate. Book newsmakers and experts to help viewers gain a clearer understanding of the "right vs. wrong" in the conflicts playing out across the country every day. Vet guests, plan ahead, research and book future guests. Work closely with show EP, anchors and producers on interview segments. Active role in the control room during the show. Interacts with all HLN show teams, varied CNN departments and multiple outside guests, agencies and organizations. Screen phone calls and text messages in control room.
