This position is responsible for assisting the Guest Services and Ticketing Manager with planning, preparing and implementing procedures and programs for the day-to-day operation of the Guest Services and Ticketing Department at Hersheypark, ZooAmerica, and Hershey Gardens.
Job Functions:
Assist in hiring, managing and developing of part time staff
Assist with the implementation of new procedures to improve service to our guests
Provide clear communication to supervisors, as well as full-time and seasonal staffs
Ensure department is compliant with all company policies regarding employees, ticketing, finance, etc.
Coordinate and execute the Season Pass Office and Front Gate daily responsibilities.
Assist with coordination and execution the Season Pass Office daily responsibilities.
Serve as the departmental duty manager on a rotating basis for all events involving the department
Monitor, follow up on, and coordinate all guest correspondence including Guest Services Log, tracking of guest resolutions, and Hersheypark.com inquiries. Serve as the liaison with all complex and group departments to ensure we are consistent with guest resolutions and documentation. Respond to all guest and employee inquiries in a timely manner
Monitor all department supplies and inventories
Assist with monitoring and updating part time employee records, including part time employee payroll
Providing reports for department revenue and other various reports
Response to all guest and employee inquiries in a timely manner
Assist with Complex guest correspondence.
Participate in various complex and destination committees including Destination Guest Services Committee.
Coordinate and execute VIP programs and Breakfast in the Park programs
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Management, Hospitality, or related field OR a minimum of (4) four years experience in a related field such as box office or guest resolution
Minimum ofone (1) year of ticketing experience or related experience
Minimumone (1) year of supervisory experience
Additional Qualifications:
Proven communication and organization skills
Knowledge of amusement parks, or related industry
Proven experience with conflict resolution and problem solving
PC proficiency; including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Access
Knowledge of Galaxy ticketing system a plus
Working Conditions:
Physical requirements include walking, standing, sitting, hearing and communicating verbally.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
