Department: ESPN RadioJob Title: Project - Production Assistant IJob ID: 253244 This is a project position with an estimated project length of 6/2010 through 1/2011. ESPN Radio has added the broadcast production of all 64 World Cup games, US Open Golf, and expanded our College Football broadcast schedule. When adding that to our existing NBA and MLB products, this represents a significant increase in broadcasts during this time period last year. We have also expanded the coverage of these broadcasts to create more revenue generating commercial inventory and feature/billboard availabilities. Project Summary:Board operation; screening and editing of audio content; preparing/editing content for broadcasts and/or various ESPN Audio platforms; prepare imaging/production for promotional and on-air use. Assist Technical Producer with Event Production broadcast operations and planning when called upon. Desired Requirements:Candidates must have an understanding of control studios, broadcast equipment, and associated software/programs. Fundamental knowledge of technical standards and operating systems is required. Strong technical and production/imaging skills are preferred.
