In support of the NPS mission, the Associate Director, Workforce Management ensures the NPS has people with the right skills, at the right place and at the right time. The Office of Equal Employment Opportunity is seeking a diverse, goal oriented and self-motivated individual to build alliances and establish relationship in the EEO Complaint and Adjudication Program, and evaluation activities. He/she will also provide support toward the civil rights Servicewide Program. The position is located in the Washington Office (WASO), DC.

This includes providing technical assistance, and policy guidance to related State and local entities, advocacy groups, bureaus and other DOI/Federal interested parties related to civil rights federal assistance.

Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. For this position you must have specialized experience in gathering and analyzing evidential information for discrimination complaints, prepare clear, concise and accurate written proposed disposition based on analysis of the investigative files. Serves as a negotiator, arbitrator and coordinator to informally resolve complaints.

Medal holders and Gulf War veterans must have served continuously for at least 24 months or the full period for which called or ordered to active duty.
