FUNCTIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE 

 Customer Service: Customer service - call center location 

 Customer Service: Member services 
 
DESIRED SKILLS 

 Explain member's rights and responsibilities in accordance with their contract 

 HMO 

 Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plan 

 Research and explain coordination of benefits to member 

 Verify and update coordination of benefits information on a member's file 

 Educate providers on contract requirements 

 Bilingual Spanish Speaking Preferred 
 
POSITION SUMMARY 

Handles customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, internet or written correspondence. Customer inquiries are of a basic and routine nature. 

Answers questions and resolves issues based on phone calls/letters from members, providers, and plan sponsors. 

Documents and tracks contacts with members, providers and plan sponsors. 

Provides benefit information and conducts claims inquiry research. 

Requirements EDUCATION 
The minimum level of education required for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience. 
 
REQUIRED SKILLS 

 Perform intake calls from members 

 Perform intake calls from providers 
 
ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION 
Currently hiring for the following shift: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM 
Must be available to work any shifts between the hours of 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM
