 Posting Job Description Summary:
The Executive Director of Corporate Human Resources serves as a business partner and consults with, and influences functional leaders within an assigned client group on business needs, while providing human resources expertise in organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee development, change management, coaching, performance management and employee relations.

Job Responsibilities:
Organizational Effectiveness: Assess complex departments’ processes, projects, functional strategies, learning & development needs, structure and resources for fit with evolving business needs; review gaps, develop and implement recommendations with key clients. Collaborate with CHR VP to develop and implement appropriate HR strategies and plans to meet evolving business needs. 

Workforce Planning: Understand impact of business and industry changes on supported functions and corporation. Stay abreast of changing trends and impact of external industry events and communicate to key clients. Regularly review significant people issues, metrics and trends that impact operational effectiveness and business performance of client groups. Maintain an awareness of business cycles and impact of HR practices, metrics and processes; modify and improve as needed.

Talent Management: Develop strategies to expand diversity and enhance Time Warner’s reputation as a leader in diversity and inclusion. Monitor client groups’ progress towards annual Diversity Action Plan. Understand “personality” of client groups, their strategic objectives and essential talent needs for success; equip Worldwide Recruitment (WWR) with insights. Partner with WWR on projected and actual workforce needs to ensure timely fill and new hire fit. Advise and assist client groups in hiring/selections for positions at all levels.

Performance Management/Succession Planning: Drive effective performance management, learning & development and succession plans and processes. Work with key executives, specialists, and HR leadership to improve administrative systems, programs and processes. Identify, create, and communicate opportunities to develop high potentials and high performers that cross functions and /or divisions.

Employee Development: Coach key senior clients on their leadership development needs. With specialists, develop and implement leadership development programs to support business needs, retain and grow key talent and skills, and address systemic leadership needs. With specialists, design and implement management development programs that equip managers to lead and develop their teams and align with key business objectives. Work with specialists and senior HR team to establish metrics to assess and inform impact of leadership and management development programs. Facilitate the delivery of corporate learning & development programs.

Employee Relations: Promote a positive work environment within key client groups. Assure employee relations issues are effectively addressed; provide ongoing input and support to client leadership. Counsel leadership on “optics” of and probable responses to key business decisions; coach on listening skills and response strategies. Reduce departmental silos and boundaries by clarifying roles, responsibilities, and processes.

Education:
•Minimum Education: BA or BS in HR or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

Experience:
•10-15 years human resources experience in large corporate environment with primary responsibility for complex client group.
•Demonstrated ability to align business needs and objectives through integration of solid organizational effectiveness practices and human resource functions.
