Job description summary
The mission:
Based in New York and reporting to the Vice-President of Global Sales North America, the Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the Vice President in key areas of management of the Global Sales team who are based across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Personally assist the Vice President Global Sales North America, including but not exclusive:
Maintain calendar and organize meetings, conference calls
Travel and agenda planning
Assist team leaders with Budget and PL
Oversee all aspects of office management both in NYC but also in Los Angeles, Toronto and any satellite offices that are part of the organization, to include:
Policies and procedures
Ensuring appropriate office coverage, attendanceanswering of telephones
Technology and systems
Procurement
Account Payable liaison
HR Logistics which means:
Understanding all aspects of the recruitment process
Giving guidance to the team members in terms of processes and procedures
Being aware of and advising the VP and team of any training opportunities
Payroll on a weekly basis and establishing a back up procedure
Recruitment, training and management of all interns within the department.
Communicating key information to decision makers within the organization.
Establishing relationships throughout the organization both domestically and internationally that will assist the North American Global Sales Team to achieve their goals.
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
