The Data Architect is responsible for providing strategy, vision, implementation, and maintenance of the logical and physical data models for the department. This person will work closely with the other team members including the Data Integration (Extract/Transform/Load) , the Database, and Business Intelligence architects to ensure a cohesive team and mature design for all Business Intelligence projects. This person will work to analyze requirements of existing and proposed projects and develop the technical specification as it relates to the data architecture by mapping the business processes to the data models while ensuring adherence to the organizations over data strategy. This person will also be responsible for building and maintaining the enterprise schema, metadata dictionary, and data lineage across all applications. 

 Typical Training / Experience - Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline; Generally 5-8 years of experience in related field. Certification is required in some areas OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in related field.
