Minimum Job Requirements:
High school diploma/G.E.D. Ability to lift 75 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training. Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Must possess valid driver's license. Requires medical exam in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations. Effectively communicate verbally in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. 
Minimum Job Duties:
Loads and unloads aircraft, containers, and company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. 
Ensures cargo is properly secured and tied down. 
Audits size and weight of packages to ensure conformance with service requested. 
Separates packages by service type and destination, in accordance with established procedures. 
Scans packages according to prescribed procedures. 
Ensures the use of safety procedures in handling packages. 
Cleans and washes company vehicles; cleans and paints ensuring compliance with corporate appearance standards. 
Assists in directing aircraft to proper ramp locations. 
performs ramp functions in accordance with established FedEx policies and procedures.
Performs ramp functions in accordance with established FedEx policies and procedures. 
Operates mechanized ramp equipment to fulfill the needs of the job, as required, but is not the primary focus of responsibility or majority of time worked. 
Picks up and delivers packages on an emergency basis, as required. 
Operates non-articulated vehicles, as required, but is not the primary focus of responsibility or majority of time worked.

USPS will not grant clearance to anyone who has not resided in the U.S. continuously for the past five years [excluding service in the U.S. military]."
