We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position of Product Innovation Manager in Lawrenceville, GA.Reporting to the Director of Technology and Innovation, this position is responsible for insuring the Consumer business has a robust pipeline of new products by leading the technical development of products (new and existing) and delivering those to the commercial teams on time; identifying and technically assessing new product concepts and platform opportunities; and that product maintenance activities are supported..
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical aspects of new product development.Provide input and deliver new product concepts to increase new product portfolio value.
Utilize StageGate New Product process to drive innovation and collaboration with functional teams
Coach, mentor and lead the Innovation team to challenge the status quo.
Explore and manage outside partner relationships.
Partner with respective departments i.e., Regulatory, Analytical Services, Process Development, Project Mgmt, and Marketing to deliver on project commitments.
Anticipate IP opportunities.
Job Requirements :
Degree in chemistry or chemical engineering required.
Graduate degree or PhD in chemistry or chemical engineering preferred but not required.
Minimum 5-7 years in influential technical position
Minimum 2 years in key product development leadership role
Experience with New Product Development StageGate concepts and practices
Demonstrated accomplishments in new product development (from conception to commercialization)
Strong leadership and communication skills
