In this position, you will manage and direct assigned sales staff efforts to ensure region achieves assigned financial goals; Develop and maintain accurate forecasting of region sales, individual modality manager sales quotas, and identify potential strategic account sales activities; Develop and implement a region business plan in support of the Ultrasound sales and Marketing plan which describes the current region sales situation, targeted accounts, strategic targets and a detailed operational plan for meeting business objectives; Manage the Ultrasound Modality Managers and their performances to ensure attainment of individual territorial sales objectives.
You will coordinate closely with Full Line Zone Management, Account Executives and Applications Specialists for strategic planning, qualification, product demonstrations, installations, and site visits; Conduct regularly scheduled business reviews in the region to ensure that the operational plan remains on target and make adjustments to the plan or region activities as needed; Be responsible for reporting of the region business trends, sales support requirements, and sales forecasts to the Vice President Ultrasound Sales; Performance management, including but not limited to performance appraisals, counseling, and corrective action; Responsible for effective coordination of business with Service Managers, dealers, and Full Line Region Sales VPs.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5 – 10 years capital equipment sales experience, preferably in the medical industry.
2 - 3 years sales managerial experience demonstrating successful performance of the responsibilities stated above in an equivalent or greater position or commensurate experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of medical imaging as it relates to customers, strategies, product issues, financial and long term business and profit objectives.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
