JOB TITLE:Mail Order Pharmacy TechnicianI. Job Summary: Pharmacy Technician II provides technical services that do not require professional judgment regarding the preparation and distribution of drug products. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist the technician is responsible for entering new prescriptions for patients, dispensing prescription medications via use of the SI Baker fulfillment system. May also stock drugs received from daily deliveries and participate in physical inventories and handle escalated issues reported by members. II. Accountabilities:1. Enter prescription information into the data processing system.2. Preparing and packaging prescription drug orders.3. Reconstituting medication.4. Loading bulk unlabeled drugs into an automated dispensing system.5. Affixing prescription labels to the prescription container.6. Initiating and receiving authorization requests under the direction and supervision of a pharmacist.7. Research and resolve escalated member issues.8. Data entry of member demographics9. Other duties as assignedIII. Job Requirements:1. High School Diploma or equivalent diploma2 Current CPht license and registration3. Type 45 WPM4. 12,000 KPH5.
