High School diploma or equivalent is required
2-3 Years experience required
Customer service skills are required
Use your experience in design and/or support of LAN/WANs doing analysis, planning, development, implementation, and support of the LAN/WAN environment in our expanding MIS Department. You will provide support on Technology and Operations projects, evaluate network related hardware and software, and develop and maintain appropriate documentation as well as monitor the network and evaluate and respond to network events that have degraded or may degrade the quality and availability of network services. Associate's Degree in Computer Science, or related disciple or technical training and/or related experience equivalent in LAN/WAN networking. At least 2 years experience in design and/or support of LAN/WANs. 1 or more years programming network equipment preferred. Has an understanding of networking architecture, design, implementation and integration management for LAN, WLAN, MAN, WAN and Internet, data, VoIP. Displays knowledge with TCP/IP and LAN/WAN protocols as well as a solid understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, WLAN, Cisco routers and switches and network security concepts. Possesses good oral and written communication skills.
