(247, 150, 70);">LAC seeks a (0, 102, 255);">NATO Special Operations Exercise Planner(0, 102, 255);"> with active TS/SCI clearance to work inStuttgart, Germany. This is a temporary position that will last approximately 3-4 months with the possibility of being extended. 

 

Responsibilities: 

* Provide subject matter expertise, as related to exercise planning support in the areas of SOF intelligence, ground and air operations, joint staff operations, joint, and inter-agency / multinational coordination, in exercise planning IAW Joint Staff processes; 

* Write exercise scripts for JCS Exercises in conjunction with the NATO SOF Coordination Centre input; 

* Provide support to the Exercise JECG Director for planning and coordination prior to and during the exercise; 

* Attend meetings, technical script reviews, designated Video Tele-Conferences (VTC), and After * Action Report (AAR) meetings; 

* Participate in the Final Planning Conference (FPC) prior to the exercise and all designated pre exercise conferences, meetings, or VTCs; 

* Provide analytical support as it relates to exercise planningpreparation related to scenario scripting of the intelligence support element of a CPX;

* Perform required services (ensure proper script management and exercise control) as part of the Exercise Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG) for the duration of the deployment of the * NATO SOF Coordination Centre; 

* Develop detailed message traffic from higher/adjacent/subordinate headquarters, US * Embassies, Other US Agencies, and participating or affected National governments within the Area of Interest that will ensure a realistic, challenging and fluid exercise; 

* Provide crisis action planning support during execution of and design of exercises. Coordinate with staff agencies and analytical elements within and outside the USEUCOM AOR and NATO to include staffs at EUCOM-component level, regional, functional and other agency teams, national agency offices, COCOMS and service component organizations; 

* Support and attend reviews, working groups, technical exchange meetings, and briefings; 

* Support the preparation of briefing materials, in MS PowerPoint softcopy file format. 

 

Requirements:

* Active TS/SCI Clearance; 

* Knowledge of combat arms and the military planning process; 

* Knowledge of all source intelligence analysis;

* Command and General Staff College or other advanced Military School education/training/experience; 

* Strong working knowledge of the complete Microsoft Suite programs; 

* Bachelor’s degree 

* Minimum 10 years experience in Special Operations and Exercise Planning career field.
