DescriptionWhat makes a great Family Intervention Specialist? A ideal candidate is committed, outcome driven, strength focused, creative, and flexible. Are these qualities that you possess? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children and families daily? If so, then the Youth Villages Intercept program may be a great fit for you. Family Intervention Specialists provide intensive home based therapy with small caseloads of four to six families. Interventions are more parent focused bringing change through the family, school, community, and peer groups. The position requires a Master's degree in a social service field.
RequirementsA Master's degree in a social services field is required.
You must have your own vehicle to use for work purposes as well as have liability insurance. Counselors are reimbursed for mileage.
