Job Description
* Regularly visiting customer senior management to sell voice, data and other VZB services, ensure customer satisfaction and discuss emerging technology. * Planning, developing and leading in the formulation and implementation of a long-term marketing strategy for government & education accounts to expand existing business and uncover new opportunities. * Leading in the sales and contract negotiations with account management to maximize customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term goals.
Requirements
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. *5+years successful sales experience in the IT/telecommunications industry. *Excellent communication and presentation skills. *Must be able to work at the executive level with both customers internal and external to Verizon Business. *Must be able to handle multiple projects and priorities maintaining customer revenue, while at the same time cultivate new revenue, applications and business to meet assigned revenue and product quotas. *Ideal candidate will have a successful sales track record. *Must have knowledge of Ethernet, MPLS, SONET and VoIP. *Successful candidate will be highlly motivated, thrives in a challenging and demanding environment, and is customer-focused.
