JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is for an entry level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer. Work activities include collection and interpretation of engineering data, development of project design basis, and performance of detailed engineering. Work includes supporting task/lead engineers in developing PIDs, instrument databases, and preparation of IC documents, specifications, and calculations. Must be able to interface with multiple disciplines on large projects. Must be able to make site visits and collect field data in operating facilities. Field environment will include performing in a construction or operating plant environment. Safety is a primary obligation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
BS Degree or equivalent with EIT. Internship in Electrical Engineering.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Position is full-time, salaried-exempt and is located in Shaw Powers office in Centennial, CO, just minutes south of downtown Denver, CO. Overtime may be required to meet project demands. Travel to job sites will be required including overnight stays up to 25%. The dress code is business casual.
