Provide complete support for All IT classrooms in the Information Technology Education Center (ITEC) and the National Advocacy Center (NAC).

 Install, set up, and disassemble hardware configurations (workstations, laptops, scanners, printers, servers, etc.), based upon the requirements of each class, as determined by the instructor(s).

 Develop course-specific Ghost images, as required, for classroom workstations and laptops.

 PC and/or laptop imaging and software installation and configuration, as required.

 Provide course instructors with classroom support before, during and after classes, as required.

 Provide technical assistance to students during classes, as requested by each course instructor or Government TPOC.

 Test and verify the technical requirements of each classroom setup to assure that all functional and performance requirements are met, including local and wide-area connectivity requirements, such as Internet/Intranet connections.

 Support for all standard hardware and software, including set up and testing of training images, at least 24 hours prior to any supported training class.

 Provide general systems administration for the NACs wireless network, as well as general connectivity support to its users, which shall include: Systems administration shall include system rebooting and operational testing, upgrading firmware and/or IOS, troubleshooting general network issues and system faults, contacting vendors to report failed components, and replacing failed system components.

 Systems administration may be required during regular business hours or during the user support hours.

 Exceptions shall include Government holidays and other days on which no formal classes are scheduled.

 Support shall be limited to testing, diagnosis, and resolution of connectivity-related issues.

 Only Windows XP (or newer) Operating Systems and the USB wireless adaptor provided by the NAC are supported.

 However, some users may be using their own 802.11x adaptor or older operating systems.

 Support for users of these non-standard systems shall be provided only on a best effort basis.

 *Window 2003 Server / Advanced Server, Exchange 2003 Enterprise Server, Office Scan 6.5 and later (TrendMicro), Backup Exec 7.0 and later (Veritas), ScanMail 6.x and later (TrendMicro), AppManager (NetIQ), SMS 2.0 and later (Microsoft).
 *Insight Manager ver 6 and later (HP), Open Manage 6.x and later (Dell), Acrobat Reader 6.0 and later (Adobe), WinInstall 7.01 and later (OnDemand).
 *IIS 5 and later (Microsoft), Blackberry Enterprise Server (RIM), Goodlink Server, Network Node Manager (HP), Cisco Works 2000.
 *Rightfax Enterprise Server 8.7 and later (Caparis).
 *8+ Years with HS or 5+ Years with AA or 2+ Years with BS or 0+ Years with MS.
 *Must have a demonstrated ability to communicate very effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
 *Must have a minimum of five years of experience in Network Engineering / Administration, Information Technology, customer support, and interaction with vendors.
 *Must be well-experienced with software and hardware troubleshooting techniques.
