Job Description
The Network Engineer will provide service support to internal and external customers. This Person is responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, referring Inquiries and completing work requests regarding ABN Amro peripheral equipment, communications systems, application software, and network communication issues. The Engineer enlists network management personnel, terminal personnel, and other support groups as necessary to facilitate trouble resolution. They will also provide information to the customer regarding the current status or resolution of the reported trouble in accordance with procedures. Position may be permanent second or third shift or may involve rotating shifts in a 7X24 hour NMC environment. Work customarily and regularly (50% of time or more) requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment. The Network Engineer must address problems from simple to moderately complex. Resolution is both reactive and proactive.
Requirements
Bachelors degree, or equivalent, and 0-2 years related technical experience. Candidates must speak fluent Brazilian Portuguese and/or Italian and be prepared to work a permanent second or third shift or rotating shifts in a 7X24 hour NMC environment.
