Role Summary
Responsible for the daily operations of sales support services. Interacts with brokers to help manage flow proposal packages and quotes.
Major Duties
Responsible for reviewing pre-sale packages for completeness. Responsible for accurate submission of RFP information into various systems and to matrix partners. Responsible for obtaining any additional needed information to successfully complete a RFP which will include external communication with Brokers as well as matrix partners. Responsible for tracking the status of opportunities and insuring that the RFP is completed within necessary timeframe. Ability to meet tight deadlines and to identify issues and secure resolution in a matrix environment. Review state legislative requirements and incorporate information into benefit plan design. Responsible for data management for assigned accounts. Responsible for staying involved for all assigned accounts from beginning to end of the proposal process.
Responsibilities
Manage the RFP process for small market segment. Provide Screening Board Requests for all market segments. Provide RSU Requests for all market segments. Provide Disruption support for all market segments. Manage the sales process: Ensure that RFP information is entered into Isell timely, accurate and complete to all presale requests; Fully complete and send the quote request form to underwriting.
Qualifications
BA/BS or equivalent work experience. Managed care environment experience a plus. Ability to coordinate activities with sales team and matrix partners. Strong planning/organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple activities. Strong written and oral communication skills.
