Description
We are looking for talented Device Engineers for developing the advanced NAND Flash memory technology as part of the Joint Development Program with Micron Technologies. In this position, you will be responsible for engineering and optimizing the NAND cell and array. You will be using process and device simulation tools to build devices and using the characterization data to understand and enhance them. You will be developing new test structures, characterizing techniques and test algorithms to improve device understanding. You will be interfacing with the design and product teams to understand the critical product needs and working with the integration teams to develop solutions on silicon for these needs. You will be working with the Process Engineering, Product Engineering and Reliability Engineering to understand process, product and reliability issues and will be developing appropriate cross-functional solutions. You will be stationed in Santa Clara with frequent travel to Boise working with Intel and Micron Technologies counterparts to develop compelling technical solutions to meet the needs of the advanced NAND nodes.
Qualifications
You should posses a Master of Science degree and/or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Physics with emphasis on Physics of Semiconductor Materials and Devices. Additional qualifications include:
- Demonstrated expertise in the area of Semiconductor and Device Physics, device processing, electrical characterization, and device and circuit models
- Acknowledged technical problem solving capability and good teamwork, leadership and communication skills
