The Account Support Representative'sprimary responsibility is to provide support to thecustomerand theAccount Managers/Account Executives. The Account Support rep is focused on maintaining a high level of customer service that enables the Account manager/Executive to maintain and grow sales/account profitability. 

 

Reporting - Assists the Account Manager/Executive by producing weekly and monthly reports required by the accounts they support (i.e. low stock notice, orderbackorder follow up, inventory, cost savings) 

 

Data Management/Entry - Maintain client database covering departments, items, order entry, returns, etc. including completion and processing of support documents. Maintains system through preparation of input documents and/or data entry; updates customer files including printing histories, samples, functional files, procedures, etc. Processes requisition transactions, including editing of products, shipping codes, etc. 

 

Training - Might be involved in training of account support personnel in daily activities of ordering, receiving, quality control, warehousing, distribution, data entry, and customer service. 

 

Order Management - Supports Account Manager/Executive by processing production orders through the order management system, coordinates with operations and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services to the customer. 

 

Customer Service - Proactively provides customers with the highest quality of customer service by processing order requests, answering inquiries, and resolving customer issues (i.e billing, order errors, shipping/receiving issues etc) . 

 

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
