The Data Architect will be responsible for design, development, testing, and support of projects both in early phases and during implementation. Resource will work with the business analysis team to add technical input for custom designs. Resource is expected to be hands-on. In addition to project delivery, resource will be asked to support proposal creation and other sales efforts.
Essential Functions
Work with various software developers, project and/or product managers, and customer application experts
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to gain required knowledge for the design and creation of solutions
Manage Strategic and Operational objectives
Ensure documentation of all aspects of the project
Identify roadblocks in project completion and ensure project is successful
Provide primary technical vision for project
Understand current data environment and resources
Determine appropriate iterations for implementation
Define technical design for module one.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree
Demonstrated success in architecting large scale enterprise software
Working experience of Service-Oriented Architecture systems.
A combination and good balance of architecture design and hands-on development skills.
6+ years of Data Architect experience
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Outstanding analysis skills
Must be authorized to work for any US employer
Ability to Travel
