Using and following detailed instructions and prescribed procedures this position will have the responsibility for the ongoing security maintenance and support requests for JD Edwards, Agvance and other applications the Information Security Department has the responsibility to administer. These tasks will be under direct supervision. He/She will respond to simple Information Security related inquiries and questions, assist with the investigation of problems and provide backup for basic daily security needs. In addition, there will be participation in security testing, data security audits and project support and implementations. This position will also be asked to assist with the maintenance of our security documentation. He/She will be communicating directly with Application Support personnel and the application users. They must have the ability to pay strict attention to detail as an error may cause system performance issues or possible loss or unauthorized user access.

Other responsibilities will include:

????????? Maintain user access to JD Edwards as directed. Including groups roles, tasks, and application/form access security in the Production, Development and Test Environments. Assist with the maintenance of the security tables and user access reviews

????????? Maintain user access to Agvance as directed. Including roles, menus and window access security in the Production, Training and Test Environments. Assist with the maintenance of the security tables and user access reviews. 

? 

????????? Participate in security testing, data security audits and other Information Security projects as needed. Assist with the creation and maintenance of security documentation. 

? 

????????? Provide support with Business and IT project implementations as needed. This support may develop into ongoing maintenance as needed. 

? 

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and 2+ years exp.?

? 

This position should have the ability to apply fundamental concepts, practices and procedures relating to basic business processes and internal controls. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to quickly learn various business functions, processes, and business-specific applications.

Know fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of basic business processes and internal controls. Demonstrate an understanding of JD Edwards, personal computers and other applied technologies.
