Job Summary: Identifies opportunities associated with leveraging and promoting customer preference and use of the online channel by customers (employees, providers, and/or employers). Coordinates and/or manages the execution of marketing strategies that promote online self-service and drive utilization of customer portal(s) to reduce expenses by transforming the way the business services customers and increase cross-buying revenue by deepening existing relationships.Functional Responsibilities: Works with business units to develop and execute e-business marketing strategies for promoting products and services. Sets the web direction and oversees web initiatives. Manages a team which acts as a liaison between business users and developers. Compiles business needs regarding web and provide options based on their needs. Work with the distribution channels to define metrics requirements for their websites. Gather in-depth requirements for larger issues, site enhancements, new products, or new site creation. Work with developers and distribution channels to set up project timelines. May manage advertising and content issues related to the e-commerce site. Participate in the yearly budget and planning process for web related projects.
Job Requirements
• Strong sales and marketing orientation.• Strong leadership skills, preferably 2-3 years of people management experience.• Demonstrated project management skills.• 3-5 years e-commerce experience.• Strong business/marketing analysis skills.• Background in insurance and/or financial services desirable, but not necessary.• Strong presentation and communications skills.• Ability to partner at multiple levels and work effectively in a matrix organization.• An advanced college degree is preferred .
