 BASIC JOB PURPOSE
 Under indirect supervision, CREATES, PUBLISHES, DOCUMENTS, and DISTRIBUTES business development policy, procedures and best practices; TRAINS, ADVISES, and COMMUNICATES feedback to team members on issues relating to implementation of procedures, practices and operations; COLLABORATES with other team members, clinic operations, administration, and physicians on issues requiring shared accountability and/or decision making; SERVES as key contact for clarifying operational interpretation of business practices; DESIGNS and IMPLEMENTS new procedures or alternative workflows to meet customer needs; DEVELOPS and MANAGES information to support corporate decision-making; CONDUCTS data analysis and MAKES recommendations to sales and marketing leadership; CONDUCTS and MANAGES studies/projects as assigned; SUPPORTS compliance and Principles of Responsibility; MAINTAINS confidentiality; PROTECTS organizational assets; EXHIBITS ethics and integrity; ADHERES to applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditation and licensing requirements, policies and procedures; REPORTS and/or RESOLVES issues of non-compliance.
 
 On regular, sustained basis, COOPERATES with other staff members both within and outside department in accomplishment of own job duties as well as assisting others in accomplishing theirs. SERVES as team player and role model for other employees in Organization; always exhibiting traits of courtesy, caring, helpfulness and respect. CONDUCTS self in a service-oriented manner that is attentive, pleasant, cooperative, sensitive, respectful and kind when dealing with members, visitors, public and all employees.
 
 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 
 EDUCATION/TRAINING
 Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
 
 Equivalent combination of education (lesser) & experience may be considered in lieu of requirements.
 
 LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
 None.
 
 EXPERIENCE/OTHER 
 Four years data collection and analysis experience in sales, marketing, or health care related area.
 
 Demonstrated knowledge of external market environment and future health trends, market trends relation to internal operations, and translation of business operations to business practices.
 
 Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in the following: oral communication, written communication, presentations, interpersonal, negotiations, customer service, organizational, time management, problem solving , project management, and systems thinking.
 
 Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in the following PC application(s): word processing, spreadsheet, and mainframe operations relating to collections.
 
 Equivalent combination of education & experience (lesser) may be considered in lieu of requirements.
 
 COMMUNICATION AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
 Talking to co-workers, customers, outside vendors, and on the telephone. Reading, writing, speaking, understanding English. Training/giving and receiving instructions. Mathematical ability, attention to detail (e.g. organization, prioritization, proofing), concentration, and alertness.
 
 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
 
 EDUCATION/TRAINING
 Master's degree in marketing, public health, business administration, or related field.
 
 EXPERIENCE/OTHER 
 Sales experience in a health care industry.
 
 Database management experience.
 
 Knowledge of Kaiser's health plan benefits and system.
 
 Knowledge of web technology and software.
