Purpose of Position:The position is for an entry to mid-level technician who will support new product design and existing product sustaining activities.
Key Responsibilities:1. Support digital and analog PCB design and prototype activity, including
Component selection and manufacturer representative interfacing
PCB kitting
Prototyping
Rework
Test fixture design and build
First build debug and test
2. Support mechanical prototyping
3. Support field deployment activities/trials for new products
4. General lab management tasks
Key Achievements:
Academic Degrees/Backgrou:Associate degree in electronics technology with minimum 2 - 3 years experience in a development or manufacturing organization a plus
Clear understanding of analog and digital circuits
Experience in debugging production printed circuit boards
Ability to design and build cables and simple test fixtures
Experience with microprocessors, displays and power supplies
Knowledge of or interest in mechanical prototyping
Experience with software development is a plus
Enjoys electronics technology and problem solving
Ability to multitask
Innovative
Good communication skills
