DATA ENTRY/COMPUTER OPERATOR, Full Time -- The Burlington Free Press has currently reopened the position of Data Entry/Computer Operator. The primary functions of this position are to enter data (numeric 10 key) and process data in our AS400. Duties include entry of payments, adjustments, credits, verifying customer information, tape backups, running batch jobs, and printing reports. The ideal candidate must work well independently and have previous data entry experience that is fast, proficient, and exhibits a high degree of accuracy. Must be detail oriented with the ability to work within deadlines. A basic understanding of computers, a good deal of common sense, and strong numeric 10 key experience are a must. Work hours are M-F, 2PM-10PM and rotational weekend hours. Full benefits, EOE.
