Job Title: National Sales Rep - Bulk Material

Job Summary:
 Outside sales representative for Monarch Nutraceuticals, a subsidiary of Nutraceutical Corporation [NASDAQ:NUTR]. This position is responsible for rapidly growing the sales of raw materials, particularly reacted minerals, to manufacturers of nutritional supplements. Must be able to travel extensively.

Essential Functions:
 

Regularly visit accounts to educate and service while growing sales in existing accounts. 

Establish business relationships and create sales to new accounts. 

Use provided sales data to develop individual account strategies for growth. 

Regularly provide feedback to management regarding customer service, product mix, and new product ideas. 

Working with management, and the sales data provided, develop sales strategies for both individual accounts and the area as a whole which will result in growth that meets or exceed sales goals. 

Regularly participate in sales meetings to discuss activities, share success stories and address failures. 

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. 

Must have good writing and organizational skills to produce reports and keep track of expenditures and appointments.

 Additional Responsibilities:
 

Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities. 

Establish and maintain an effective workspace such as a home office. 

 Work effectively from a remote location, which may include working from a home office or from a hotel regularly.

 Job Qualifications: 

Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred. One to two years related experience and/or training required; business and/or chemistry/life sciences background strongly preferred. 

Two plus years selling experience; experience in the Nutraceutical industry strongly preferred. 

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. 

 Must have knowledge of a variety of basic computer software applications including word processor, spreadsheet and presentation software.

 Physical Requirements:
 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and talk or hear. 

Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, field of vision. 

Employee must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
