" Provides risk assessment of credit and/or counterparty exposure for assigned business areas/products. 
" Conducts independent risk analyses and assessments for both large scale and the most complex entities/transactions. 
" Gathers information about customer relationship and related credit exposures. 
" Reviews financial statements and other supporting documentation. 
" Utilizes multiple sources to gain background information on assigned clients. 
" Prepares summary of terms and conditions including assessment of any financial covenants. 
" Analyzes company industry, competitive position and historical financial performance. 
" Identifies risk issues, strengths and weaknesses. 
" Identifies exceptions to policies and guidelines. 
" Recommends an appropriate risk rating. 
" Participates in or leads special projects as assigned. 
" May coach or supervise junior staff members. 
 
 Job Specifications
 
" Bachelors degree in business, finance or related field. 
" Minimum 3 years related experience including commercial lending and/or regulatory examination and formal bank credit training or equivalent. 
" Strong communications skills. 
" Strong interpersonal skills. 
" Strong analytical, underwriting, credit structuring, documentation, credit and administration skills. 
" Ability to work independently, prioritize and multitask. 
" Attention to detail.
