Job Description:

Fulfills the needs of patients, families and community by providing Occupational Therapy services in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Responds effectively to new and changing work assignments

Job Requirements: 

A Bachelors or Masters degree from an A.O.T.A. accredited school of Occupational Therapy is required. Current DC licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility and evidence of application for DC licensure is necessary. (This includes those who have applied to take the Occupational Therapy Board Examination on the next available date. Failure to obtain license on next available date may result in termination.) Demonstrated ability to manage general full-time caseload is necessary

Facility Information:

 On August 23rd 2002, The George Washington University Hospital moved all services from the old building at 901 23rd Street directly across the street to a brand new $96 million new facility. Over $20 million of medical equipment was purchased over the last 2-3 years. It was moved to the new hospital along with an additional $25 million in new equipment.
